Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy:
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships.
Vendor Management:
Oversee the selection and management of suppliers, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective procurement of food products.
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement improvement plans as necessary.
Supply Chain Oversight:
Monitor and optimize the end-to-end supply chain, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Cost Control:
Implement cost control measures to achieve budgetary goals.
Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including cost savings, supplier performance, and market trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3-5 years of proven experience in procurement, with a focus on food and beverage.
In-depth knowledge of local warehousing, transportation, and distribution practices.
Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin), written and spoken.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and quality standards.
Preferred Skills:
Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management.
Experience with international procurement and import/export regulations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful procurement strategies.
Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
