HTI has an immediate opening for an experienced Director of Maintenance with a manufacturing facility just outside of Little Rock, AR. This is a direct hire, salaried role. Salary will depend on experience and education, and the range is approximately $110,000 – 130,000 / year. Requirements:
- Must have 7+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager in the manufacturing industry.
- Two-year or four-year degree preferred.
- Technical background in manufacturing maintenance with various types of equipment/machinery preferred.
- CAPEX, project management and lean manufacturing experience preferred.
- KPI implementation and management.
- Experience in maintenance vendor supervision and compliance.
- Proficiency in a continuous process manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational and troubleshooting skills required.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CMMS Programs, and production software.
Job Duties:
- Lead the maintenance team and establish strategies, tactics, and priorities for execution of planned and preventative maintenance.
- Manage and plan the execution of the maintenance schedule in order to increase uptime and ensure efficient use of staff and materials.
- Track and monitor all maintenance department KPI's and goals.
- Ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
- Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Lead and train maintenance team members, serve as a mentor and coach.
- Improve reliability and performance of plant equipment, focusing on productivity gains, mean time between failures, elimination of chronic failures, and maintenance simplification.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards, quality of work, and adherence to timelines and contract terms.
- Track the performance of maintenance vendors/contractors; review their performance on an annual basis.
- Manage maintenance contractors and work orders, including CAPEX projects.
- Document all maintenance work in the CMMS.
