A highly reputable and growing global manufacturing organization is seeking to hire a Site Environmental Health and Safety Manager for their growing facility. This individual will be responsible for managing the EHS program(s) for the company’s 500+ employee production facility. This is a permanent, direct-hire position.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with and influence team members at all levels of the organization to promote pervasive EHS culture.
- Ensure EHS compliance with regulatory authorities (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.) and organizational policies.
- Develop and implement EHS training and development program(s) for new and existing employees.
- Lead risk assessments, EHS audits, hazard analysis, and near miss activities.
- Collect, maintain, and analyze EHS data and records and reports.
- Seek out and implement continuous improvement opportunities specific to EHS.
- Manage emergency action and first responder programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- 5+ years of EHS experience within manufacturing environment(s).
- Thorough understanding of current regulatory environment, requirements, and trends.
