OVERVIEW:
We are seeking multiple skilled JDE E1 WFM Developers to join our construction industry client’s project on a contract and contract to full-time basis. The developers will play a key role in integrating newly acquired JDE instances into the corporate system, facilitating smooth transitions as part of ongoing M&A activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Modify JDE Applications: They will make necessary adjustments to JDE systems from acquired entities to match Client’s corporate standards and functionality.
- Integrate Data and Systems: The developer will work on integrating data and system configurations from the acquired companies into the existing JDE infrastructure, ensuring a smooth and efficient merger process.
- Support M&A Activities: With a backlog of projects extending to 2026, this role will support the IT needs related to ongoing mergers and acquisitions, facilitating the onboarding of new business units.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: They will identify and resolve issues during the integration process, ensuring that all JDE systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Onsite Collaboration: Initially, the role requires an onsite presence for onboarding and integration tasks to understand requirements and align solutions accordingly.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a JDE Developer, with a focus on JDE EnterpriseOne Workforce Management
- Proven track record of working on JDE E1 integrations, customizations, and modifications, especially during M&A scenarios.
- Experience in onboarding and integrating systems from acquired companies is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of JDE EnterpriseOne development tools.
- Proficiency in JDE modules related to financials, procurement, inventory, and manufacturing.
- Experience with data migration and integration, including tools and technologies for data mapping and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load).
- Familiarity with SQL, Oracle Database, and other relational database management systems.
- Understanding of EnterpriseOne Orchestrator for process automation and integrations.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize JDE applications.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address integration and customization challenges.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with various teams, stakeholders, and end-users during the integration process.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines, especially given the nature of M&A projects.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to be onsite at least once a month to every other week.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) and flexibility to accommodate occasional changes in project schedules.
- Preference for candidates who are open to a contract-to-hire arrangement.
