Senior Electrical Engineer – Northeast Region
Our client, a well-established firm in the Northeast, seeks a dedicated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and manage Electrical Engineering projects across an exciting and diverse portfolio. This role is based in our Albany, NY office, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.
Position Overview
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will take on a critical “seller-doer” role, balancing client management and engineering design duties. You’ll lead project delivery from concept to completion, with responsibilities spanning client relations, project management, team coordination, and contractor collaboration. Experience in power distribution, especially medium-voltage system design, is highly desirable.
Project Involvement
Your expertise will contribute to various project types, including electrification, battery electric vehicle charging infrastructure, transit facilities, and facilities for educational institutions and commercial buildings. This position offers a stable, long-term career path with exposure to an array of impactful projects across key markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop proposals and establish project fees
- Manage project portfolios, timelines, and deliverables
- Oversee engineering design and production work
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Certify and professionally seal project work
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years in Electrical Engineering within the consulting industry
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and codes
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office suite
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
