PAM Transport was founded in Tontitown, Arkansas, in 1980 by Paul Allen Maestri as a 5 truck operation. About this opportunity
We are looking for someone to advise the new solo drivers of all the resources the company has to help them succeed. You will also coordinate with other departments to arrange meetings with the new upgrade(s) and new experienced drivers. This position may also help drivers with some of their skills such as backing, turning, and pre-trip inspections.
Pay and Schedule
This position is Monday - Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm. The pay range is $50,000 - $60,000 dependent on experience.
How will you contribute to the success of the team?
- Teach and inform drivers of DOT and company policies.
- Serve as a liaison with other departments to help new solo drivers get all their questions answered.
- Maintain and inventory supplies for classroom instruction and hand-outs
- Perform other assigned duties or tasks as time permits or as directed by supervisor
What makes you a strong candidate for this position?
- Must have communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess experience in training or teaching in a classroom setting
- Ability to adapt to new regulations, laws, and electronic functions as they evolve
- Possess the ability to tolerate and positively manage stressful situations
- Knowledge of or ability to learn relevant computer applications -Willingness to be a team player
- Class A CDL
