JOB TITLE: Financial Analyst
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract/Contract-to-Hire - Contract: 6 - 12 months
COMPENSATION: $30-$36/hour
LOCATION DETAILS: REMOTE PST hours – Must be local to the Camarillo offices if needed to go on-site.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Top 3-5 Technical Skills –
- Strong working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products (Advanced Excel- Lookups, SumIfs, pivot tables, data management)
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools and experience with Milliman MedInsight preferred.
- Knowledge of relational databases and MS SQL Query tools experience a plus but, not required.
Project Scope/Details/Responsibilities –
- Function as the lead Finance resource on an organization-wide, multi-million dollar, multi-system implementation project.
- Develops, interpret, and implements financial models and concepts for financial planning and analysis.
- Tracks resource utilization by sub-project.
- Prepares variance reports comparing actual spend with projected spend.
- Partners with the Project Management Office to ensure resources are allocated appropriately.
- Partners with Accounting to ensure eligible expenses are amortized appropriately.
- Build upon existing monthly financial reporting by incorporating operational data sets to enhance the enterprise performance management.
- Assist in the design and implementation of improvements in financial analytics and reporting that support data-driven decisions by providing clear and accurate financial summaries to management.
- Create presentations and reports to inform senior leadership on the financial performance and provide guidance on near-term and long-term opportunities and risks.
- Participate in special cross-functional projects and assignments as needed to support financial reporting and analytics.
- Assists Chief Financial Officer and Controller.
