Are you ready to take your civil engineering skills to the next level? We’re looking for a talented civil engineer with 2+ years of experience. You'll play a key role in creating and maintaining civil engineering drawings and construction plans under expert supervision.
What You’ll Do:
Drafting, Modeling, and Permitting for Private and Civil Municipal Work in Wisconsin
Stormwater Modeling with HydroCAD
Peak flow reduction
Pond sizing and grading
Culvert sizing
Stormwater routing
Erosion Control Modeling
Grading and Site Design
Modeling Finished Grade surfaces with Civil 3D using feature lines and corridors
Optimizing building pads and roads
Performing and balancing cut/fill calculations
Modeling ADA sidewalks and parking
Designing sites with sidewalk, curb and gutter, building pads, roads, stormwater ponds, ditches, swales, etc.
Drafting and Document Preparation
Drafting construction documents
Drafting opinions of probable construction costs
Permitting and Code Compliance
Permitting projects on the state and local level in Wisconsin
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
2+ years of experience in civil engineering or related roles.
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and the ability to apply them in practice.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong comprehension skills, including active listening and critical thinking.
