About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Data Management Specialist to join our newly established Enterprise Data Management practice. This role is pivotal in supporting our data quality initiatives and expanding our capabilities in data governance, specifically in tools like Snowflake and Collibra. As the first person in this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the team and its processes.
You will play a crucial role in building a new practice within our organization, working closely with industry leaders and contributing to significant data initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Data Quality Management: Measure and ensure the quality of data across our systems, collaborating closely with Sriram and the data delivery team.
- Metadata Collection: Develop and maintain metadata catalogs, ensuring critical data is well-defined and easily accessible.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as an advocate for the data management team, effectively representing our initiatives to various stakeholders, including the Director of Enterprise Data Management.
- Product Management: Oversee delivery schedules and roadmaps, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Data Governance: Understand and implement data governance practices using tools such as Collibra and Informatica to comply with regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data management, data quality, or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the team and advocate for data initiatives.
- Familiarity with enterprise data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica) and methodologies.
- Experience with metadata management and understanding the significance of critical data.
- Product management experience, including developing roadmaps and managing delivery schedules.

Nice-to-have: Experience with marketplace data management solutions.
