Estimator - Florida - On-site
We are seeking an Estimator with technical Engineering experience, and a background in Control Systems to join a growing System Integration business across Florida. This role will be focused on supporting vendors and customers, where you will use your technical background to complete cost analysis, company reports and feedback to the technical manufacturing team to start custom made productions. You will play a critical part in building relationships with customers and being collaborative between multiple internal departments.
Ideal Candidate should have experience in the following :
- Previous experience as an Estimator with knowledge of Electrical Controls systems and Rockwell PLC systems to hit the ground running and support local customers immediately
- Technical hands on experience with PLC Systems such as Allen Bradley, Siemens
- Knowledge and an understanding of different CAD platforms and Electrical Engineering tools
- Familiarity with NEC regulations
- Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans
- Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process
- Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in the Electrical and Controls industry
- Previous experience in a Process driven industries such as (Food and Beverages, Life Sciences, Waste Water)
- 2+ years experience working as an Estimator
- 2+ years business development experience
- Experience building relationships and visiting customer sites face to face
