Position: CNC Milling Machinist – 2nd Shift (Night Shift with 15% Differential)

Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced CNC Milling Machinist to join our night shift team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC Milling machines, ensuring product quality and meeting production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Milling machines with attention to detail.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications for accurate part production.
- Select and install the appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices for each job.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Monitor machining operations, adjust settings as needed, and inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
- Document production activities and maintain detailed records.
- Follow all safety protocols within the manufacturing environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining is preferred.
- Previous experience in CNC Milling and machining in a production environment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of machining principles, including tool selection and feeds/speeds.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills and a dedication to safety.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
