Job Title: Maintenance Planner

Summary: Responsible for the efficient and expeditious planning of requirements for maintenance, inspection, repair, overhaul, and other production requirements as they relate to aircraft, manpower and parts.
Essential Functions:
- Analyzes the output of the records department to preplan all required inspections, overhauls, A.D. compliance and other maintenance functions. The Maintenance Planner will assist the Planning Supervisor in monitoring compliance, to ensure that over-flys do not occur.
- Compiles inspection work packages to include required routine maintenance items, long-term deferred items, utilize schedule control forms, Fleet Campaign Directives, work cards, and other data as required.
- Uses standards for manpower, material, and aircraft availability for pre-planned maintenance tasks.
- Coordinates requirements for manpower, material, and aircraft availability with other departments as directed by the Planning Supervisor.
- Assists in studies of production problem areas and makes recommendations for solutions in manpower utilization and introduction of planning techniques.
- Coordinates aspects of WinAir as assigned by the Planning Supervisor.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate is preferred but not required.
- Have at least 3 years of experience with the same category and class of aircraft as National Airlines operates.
