- Procurement strategies to include cost reduction initiatives, on-time delivery and quality improvements, supplier performance, and supplier consolidation/rationalization supporting manufacturing and field operations.
- Understand total spend, pricing structure, commercial terms, and trends for raw materials, purchased finished products, and manufactured assemblies with a particular knowledge of market dynamics and supply chain.
- Identify and develop new suppliers for potential savings capture and new product development opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance with assigned categories and develops & implements corrective action and recovery plans as required alongside Supplier Quality.
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders including Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Marketing.
- Conduct and assess supplier evaluations, and determine supplier selection.
- Implement performance management processes, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) metrics, and measurement dashboards to ensure supplier performance and key.
Requirements:
· A minimum of 3 years providing strategic support in a manufacturing environment for a Consumer-Packaged Goods organization.
· A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in sourcing, contract/price negotiation, procurement, or supply chain management.
· A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience working with HTC (Harmonized Tariff Codes) and difference in duty rates importing under different classifications.
· A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience using SQL or similar query reporting tools.
· A 4-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong communication and interpersonal skills; knowledge of market trends and industry best practices and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; exhibit proficiency in time management and attention to detail.
Preferred Requirements:
· An advanced degree.
