Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned General Manager with expertise in Class A commercial property management to lead operations at a newly completed, 285,000-square-foot lifestyle office property. This role oversees all aspects of property management, financial performance, and tenant relations to ensure top-tier operational standards and service for tenants and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial planning, CAM reconciliations, and a proactive approach to property management in a premier market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Manage a cross-functional team to deliver excellence across tenant relations, property maintenance, security, janitorial services, landscaping, and more.
- Tenant & Customer Experience: Maintain high standards for tenant satisfaction, managing all interactions proactively and in line with the company’s customer experience program.
- Financial Oversight: Develop annual budgets, analyze financial statements, prepare variance reports, and conduct reforecasts to optimize property performance.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Regularly assess property operations, conduct inspections, manage tenant compliance with leases, and ensure adherence to building regulations.
- Project & Vendor Management: Oversee large capital projects and routine services, managing bid processes, contract negotiations, and vendor performance with a focus on cost efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with Class A commercial assets.
- Strong background in tenant services, with experience in hospitality settings preferred.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to lead diverse teams.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated decision-making skills and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of property management.
