Our client is a consumer goods wholesale and design house that is seeking their first Logistics Specialist to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage incoming orders from start to finish to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to confirm order specifications, delivery requirements, and timelines.
- Monitor order status and proactively address potential delays or issues.
- Ensure accuracy in data entry for all orders in the system, maintaining a high standard of documentation and record-keeping.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Identify potential stock shortages and implement solutions to prevent interruptions in the supply chain.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation, packaging, and labeling.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems (A2000 preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
