Excellent opportunity for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon to join highly regarded multispecialty group in AZThe Surgery Department staffs a 500+ bed Level 1 Trauma Center in metropolitan Phoenix. This is an urban teaching hospital with a fully accredited ACGME General Surgery Residency, with the Plastic Surgery Division accepting resident rotators from the Mayo Clinic. The medical group is a faculty partner in the Creighton University Medical School educational alliance.The successful candidate must be board certified or eligible and have completed Plastic Surgery residency training. Previous faculty experience in an academic environment is preferred. The candidate should be comfortable managing the full range of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery patients. Experience with Maxillofacial Trauma and Microvascular surgery are a plus, but not an absolute requirement.This position will assist in developing the clinical service line, providing inpatient and outpatient general plastic and reconstructive surgery services in the elective and emergent care settings, sharing call coverage, and teaching residents. The candidate should be comfortable with a team approach to patient management.
