Job Title: Trust Administrator
Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid - 2 Days at home)
Pay: $80k - $90k
The Trust Administrator is responsible for managing and overseeing trust accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional service to clients. This role involves handling documentation, financial transactions, and communication with clients and their advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Setup: Input trust information into accounting software and set up files. Open bank and brokerage accounts for trusts.
- Transaction Management: Process investment directives, handle distribution requests, and ensure timely payments for trust-related expenses.
- Billing Support: Assist in preparing invoices for Trustee services by reviewing billing records and providing descriptions of services rendered.
- Annual Reviews: Perform regular reviews of trust accounts and related activities to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Client Communication: Draft and send necessary beneficiary notices, respond promptly to client inquiries, and maintain excellent communication with clients, attorneys, and advisors.
- Documentation Management: Request and review documentation for trusts, ensuring all required materials are complete and accurate.
- Compliance: Conduct Patriot Act compliance for new and transferring trusts, resolving any exceptions found during the process.
- Knowledge Maintenance: Stay informed about legal, tax, and investment developments affecting client accounts to provide informed advice.
- Policy Adherence: Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring that support personnel also comply.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 2-3 Years of Trust Administration experience
- CTFA Preferred (Not Required)
