A leading law firm is seeking an associate to become an integral part of their dynamic Global Asset Management Regulation team. The successful candidate will bring a robust understanding of federal securities laws, with 3-6 years of relevant experience, the ideal candidate will have honed their skills at a large law firm.
The firm prides itself on its tailored approach to the needs of asset managers, offering a unique environment where your knowledge will directly impact a diverse clientele. From boutique start-ups to some of the world's most prominent financial institutions, your role will involve navigating a broad spectrum of regulatory matters. These include U.S. and cross-border adviser registration, regulatory examinations and enforcement, compliance program development, and a host of other regulatory and commercial issues.
Candidates with experience advising on cross-border regulatory matters and those who have worked with clients operating globally will find themselves at an advantage. Similarly, those with a background in advising businesses with diverse product lines, such as private equity, private credit, and registered funds, will be highly regarded.
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited top US law school
- 3+ years of experience at a large/peer law firms
- Licensed to practice in Massachusetts
