Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Santa Rosa, CA, as a Project Engineer at Armony Construction Co. The Project Engineer will be involved in project management, project engineering, project planning, and applying construction and project management principles to ensure successful project execution on a day-to-day basis under direction of Project Manager and Project Superintendent. The individual holding this will be expected to be onsite at projects in and around the North Bay for a significant portion of their work.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Project Management skills
- Expertise in Project Engineering and Project Planning
- Understanding of Fundamental Construction Principles
- Capable in the Microsoft Suite (work, excel, outlook) and able to learn new software quickly
- Understanding of general business practices
- Willing to communicate in person, over the phone, in virtual meetings, via text messaging, and via email
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in construction or real estate development projects
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (not required to apply)
Role Commitments
- Draft, process, manage, and organize RFIs
- Draft, process, manage, and organize Submittals
- Coordinate with designers, jurisdictions, subcontractors, and vendors
- Make and fulfill commitments (including a commitment to "by when" things will be completed)
- Assist Project Manager with project cost control and management
- Assist Superintendent with safety and scheduling
