We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced VDC Tech to join our team in Carrollton, GA. As a VDC Tech you will be responsible for reviewing all drawings and keeping all templates updated per project specific requirements.

Responsibilities - Review all extracted 2D/3D isometric drawings, shop drawings, hanger drawings and skid drawings
- Make sure all annotations per SOP are available prior to issuing drawings
- Once check lists are completed, update status of each shop drawing or isometric drawing to “Issued for Review” (IFR) and save as PDF
- Once the drawings are in PDF format, issue drawings to QA/QC for review.
- Return drawing to the Modeler that extracted it for a revision if a drawing does not meet the check list before annotation
Qualifications- 2+ years of professional experience with 3D piping knowledge
- Process piping detailing experience preferred
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules
- Proficiency with BIM based computer applications such as Navisworks, Trimble SketchUp, and Autodesk Revit
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
