Job Title: Audio/Video Technician
Location: Frankfort, KY
Duration: Long-term Contract with benefits.
Manages educational video content that is webcast live or recorded on multiple channels including YouTube, Microsoft Teams, and Facebook.
Record and publish webcast events from remote locations and in a studio.
Responsible for editing, archiving, publication, and production of media projects to meet complex and high-volume video and webcasting needs.
Assist in setting up and Coordinating live Webcasts
Supports multiple platform and access methods for KDE staff as well as Kentucky K-12 staff and students.
Ensure proper operation of the technical aspects of webcast technologies including VPN Connectivity Support, Local Network Connectivity for off-site video/audio services.
Staying up to date on new and emerging technologies that could improve existing services or create new, innovative solutions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Utilize tracking tool to accurately record work effort against current processes in a timely and consistent manner. Position may require periodic on-call duty outside normal business hours to ensure that the supported systems are operating as intended and time sensitive deliverables are addressed.
The on-call duties will be defined at the discretion of the client manager and/or the on-call policy for the organization.
