The company is led by the principal Kevin Hong who has been a serial tech entrepreneur, and who grew two startups to $31M ARR and $7M in revenue. The companies origins started with two of Kevin's tech entrepreneur friends who have had ~8 figure and ~9 figure exits to Twitter and Square, respectively.

As a Fintech Automation Engineer Intern, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming the M&A landscape by creating automated solutions to streamline the due diligence and deal sourcing processes. Working closely with our M&A and Private Equity teams, you will develop and implement intelligent automation tools that optimize data collection, evaluation, and analysis. This role offers hands-on experience in leveraging AI, machine learning, and advanced algorithms to enhance decision-making and boost efficiency within the high-stakes world of mergers and acquisitions.
As an AI Research Lab team member, you will work with the Managing Partners, tech entrepreneurs with 8+ figure exits, a former NASA software engineer, a former C-Level exec from Google, any many more. Work with us to build an app that can help disrupt the M&A market

Description of the Work
● 15-20 hours of week
● Candidates must be able to start immediately. (Flexible hours until summer for those who are interested in the beginning during the summer)
● Automate Due Diligence Processes
● Enhance deal sourcing and QA
● Data Integration and Management
● Contribute ideas regarding industries in which to look for target companies
● Research industries to assess attractiveness (growth, profitability, trends, fragmentation, investment thesis)
Ideal Candidate
● Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field with a strong interest in fintech and private equity.
● Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL)
● Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, RPA platforms) and familiarity with AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
● Must have interest in Finance, Private Equity, Banking, Corporate Strategy, or Market Research
● Must have knowledge and/or general understanding of Prompt Engineering
● Intellectually mature, able to understand screening criteria, then make subjective judgments to recommend target companies. Able to deliver accurate work, per committed dates, to a senior executive.
