This is a full-time on-site role for a Accounts Payable Supervisor in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for performing a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the accounts payable function, while supervising one direct report.
Responsibilities -
- Manage workflow, create team schedules, and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure that business goals, deadlines and performance standards are met
- Develop guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices
- Confirm correct payments are made in a timely manner
- Analyze expense reports, credit card statements and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment
- Maintain vendor account information and relationships
- Process weekly check runs
- Match receiving/purchasing documents with invoices and work with other departments to analyze and reconcile discrepancies
- Perform monthly reconciliations and assist with year-end audit testing samples
- Complete data entry associated with accounts payable within a large ERP system
- Track reoccurring monthly expenses to maintain timely recording
- Other ad hoc finance/accounting functions as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications -
- High school diploma. Associate's degree in accounting preferred.
- 5-7 years’ experience with accounts payable
- Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Best-in-class customer service skills
- SAP software experience preferred
