Piper Maddox have recently been engaged by a market leading Construction firm to build out their Project Controls/ Scheduling team.
Together, we are looking for 2 Senior Schedulers/ Project Controllers to join their team of expert Legal construction specialists.
In this role, working as a Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for handling all of the complex scheduling tasks for a variety of construction projects, ensuring that all timelines are met and any issues (delays etc) are analyzed and documented.
You will be tasked with responsibilities such as:
- Work with internal teams to develop and create baseline schedules including resource management, activity coding, cost loading and other tasks.
- Collect and share project progress data with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the lead on all schedule analysis, identifying and ultimately investigating all variances.
- Work with the construction teams to understand all drawings, blueprints, specifications and ways of working to ensure an accurate project plan can be created.
- Negotiate contract terms and coordinate with various clients to meet multiple project deliverables.
The ideal person for this role will have a background similar to the below:
- A minimum of 5 years working experience as a Scheduler.
- Experience working with Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud.
- Must have experience working as a Scheduler within the Construction industry (bonus points for experience working on Multi-Family construction).
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience in a client facing role (must have strong communication skills).
- Detail oriented.
- Strong Educational background.
