What we are looking for:
At Converge Medical Technology, we are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bookkeeper who can bring expertise and energy to our innovative team! In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining Converge's financial records with accuracy and efficiency. Handling daily financial tasks such as managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and recording transactions in accounting software like QuickBooks. The Bookkeeper plays a crucial role in tracking the company’s financial health by performing bank reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring that all financial data aligns with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing:
Bookkeeper:
As a Bookkeeper, you’ll be central to maintaining and managing the financial health of the company. You’ll oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense tracking. Your role will involve preparing accurate financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring all financial records comply with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Transactions: Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including expenses, income, and invoices.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoices, payments, and collections, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Payroll Processing: Calculate and distribute employee wages, handle tax withholdings, and fund retirement accounts.
Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports to provide insights into the company’s financial status.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure financial records comply with regulations and maintain organized records for audits or tax purposes.
Required Skills:
Attention to Detail: Accuracy is essential for tracking expenses and maintaining financial records.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), Google Suite, and other financial tools.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
Organization: Skill in maintaining structured financial records and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
3+ years of experience in Accounting or similar field.
Familiarity with financial management tools, payroll systems, and expense management software (such as Concur) is beneficial.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate financial records.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
Previous experience working in a startup is a plus but not required.
