Our client provides estimating, pipe fabrication and material supplies to Contractors in the Water Works Industry.
The Project Manager position is responsible for leading projects from when the bid is awarded to project completion.
Job Responsibilities:
The Project Manager collaborates with Estimators, other Project Managers and the manufacturing department to successfully lead and complete projects on-time and within budget.
· Reviews drawings and specifications to ensure required documentation is present.
· Works with Contractors and Engineers to complete certifications, etc. ensuring compliance with requirements/documentation.
· Maintains Contractor relationships through project completion.
· Understand Risk Management when assembling bid: Considers future costs of materials for the life of the contract, per construction schedule.
· Considers “Value Engineering” as a critical part of both the bidding and production process.
· Estimating is a major part of this position.
Qualifications:
Required (Must Have): Technical and Professional Expertise
· 3+ years experience and a proven track record of successful project management in the H2O “Water” Industry.
· Past documented Estimator experience, within Water Industry.
· Proficiency with industry-standard project manager tools and software.
· 3+ years using business tools: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Bluebeam (Adobe or similar).
- Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written form.
· Complete work within specified timeframe, including deadlines.
· Project Management Certification - is a plus
