Pay Rate: $2095.26 - $2414.11
Sono- Diag/ Vas Tech needed asap
Shift: variable shift position
On Call requirements
Weekend requirements
Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
Holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts
75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS
Candidate must have credentials and NM state licensing
CERTS: Must be registered in vascular as RVT or RVS by ARDMS or CCI and have NM state ultrasound licensee - RVT/RVS required. BLS/BCLS certifications required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 2 years’ experience in current specialty required. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. The individual must demonstrate skills necessary to function in the Echo lab. Candidate must be able to perform general and vascular, . Candidate must have advanced knowledge in basic knowledge of imaging equipment. Candidate must be able to work cohesively with other team members. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
SCRUBS: Required and provided by the facility.
Required Qualifications
Sonographer, Diagnostic
Experience: 2 years
Travel Experience: 1 assignment in Sonographer, Diagnostic
Licenses: SONO-NM
Certifications: BLS-AHA
AND
Sonographer, Vascular
Experience: 2 years
Certifications(At least one of the following): RVT-VT-American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, RVS-Cardiovascular Credentialing International
On Call: 44- 2hr min
