Company Overview:
Our client, an innovative manufacturing firm located in Holtsville, NY, is seeking a skilled and proactive Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, optimize, and scale database systems that support critical business operations. This role will be essential to ensuring data integrity, performance, and accessibility for the leadership and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and manage MySQL databases.
- Develop database solutions to improve data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Create detailed reports and dashboards in Excel to support executive insights, guiding stakeholders through data-driven analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into efficient database solutions.
- Provide insights into reseller data forms and help integrate Salesforce data with other systems.
- Maintain and optimize Excel reports, ensuring data accessibility and user-friendly presentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Exposure to Sage 300 salesforce data is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience building and managing databases from scratch.
- Proficiency in MySQL and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to develop complex reports and dashboards.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
