Job Description
The Proofreader/Copy Editor's job is to ensure flawless copy across the company. Diligent and experienced, the Proofreader/Copy Editor has strong experience assessing and correcting a wide variety of business and marketing materials including sales collateral, website copy, emails, event materials, and editorial content. The Proofreader/Copy Editor ensures that accurate, consistent, and grammatically correct content aligns with AP Style. The Proofreader/Copy Editor collaborates with Project Managers, Associate Creative Directors, Designers, and Copywriters to ensure timely delivery of materials. The Proofreader/Copy Editor is the liaison between the Marketing and Legal Teams. As such, this individual is the keeper of all current marketing trademarks, registration marks, and service marks, and understands how the brand leverages these in marketing materials. Superior interpersonal and communication skills and a proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously are essential for this role.
