Role Overview
As an App Mod professional, you’ll bring hands-on expertise to our Configuration, Change Management, and Continuous Improvement efforts, contributing to successful software deployments, troubleshooting, and process enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration Management - Develop and enforce configuration management plans and control software versions, baselines, and releases.
- Deployment and Installation - Lead deployment plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide technical support.
- Troubleshooting - Diagnose and resolve software-related issues, implement corrective actions, and document findings.
- Change Management (Hands-on)Â - Assess impact of changes, coordinate requests, and streamline change management processes.
- Documentation and Reporting (Hands-on)Â - Keep detailed documentation of configurations and prepare status reports.
- Continuous Improvement - Identify improvement opportunities and drive automation to optimise processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash).
- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications in configuration management or ITIL are a plus.
