Business Objective:
Looking for a SQL Developer to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of patient data management processes through advanced SQL development, data automation, and process improvements, ensuring high-quality data integration and reporting for research and leadership teams.
Responsibilities:
- SQL Development: Primarily focus on SQL development using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Data Management: Assist in the automation of the process of receiving, cleaning, and validating daily patient data lists (inpatient and outpatient visits). Identify and eliminate duplicate records.
- Data Matching: Perform lookups to match patient records with varying IDs to ensure accurate data integration.
- Process Revamp: Lead efforts to overhaul existing data processes, introducing improvements and automation.
- Database Updates: Handle simple SQL selects, imports, and updates. Heavy-duty SQL or pivot queries are not required.
- Reporting Functions: Collaborate on reporting functions, assisting with providing analytics for research teams and leadership.
Qualifications:
- SQL & C# Proficiency: Solid experience in SQL development and C# programming, ideally within a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
- Experience Level: 3-4 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
- Data Management Skills: Ability to work with and clean large datasets, identifying duplicates, validating records, and performing lookups.
- Automation Skills: Experience automating data processes is highly preferred.
- Foundation Knowledge: Aptitude to quickly grasp and work within a foundation or nonprofit environment, particularly in managing sensitive patient data.
- Tools Experience: Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring data quality by eliminating duplicates and streamlining processes.
- Healthcare Data: Healthcare experience and exposure to patient data is a plus, but not required.
