Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Catskill, NY
Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
No Weekends, No Holidays, No On-Call
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours
Requirements:
• ARRT (MRI) certification required.
• Radiologic Technician certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI experience in an outpatient or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with Meditech charting system is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality imaging for patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Position patients properly and provide instructions for MRI procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Operate MRI equipment, including Hitachi View and Philips Brilliance systems.
• Maintain patient records and ensure charting is done accurately in the Meditech system.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
• Ensure MRI equipment is functioning properly and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Provide exceptional patient care, addressing concerns and explaining procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
vTech Healthcare Job ID . Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
