For this role, you would be a member of our development team doing backend SQL development for several key applications used by our clients that is a growing area of our business. We have a collaborative development team and looking for an individual with not only strong technical skills but someone who communicates well, both verbally and in writing, and enjoys working and collaborating with other technical professionals. Our team works together and believes no one person knows it all!
THIS ROLE REQUIRES SOME ONSITE WORK – YOU MUST LIVE IN THE ATLANTA, GA AREA!
This role will involve working from our offices at times...and working from home as well. From a technical standpoint, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- SQL Developer! SQL development experience...a minimum of 3 years.
- Experience doing performance tuning of SQL. Able to analyze a poor performing SQL queries and tune and enhance performance accordingly.
- Created and tuned complex SQL
- Experience with reporting related tools like SSRS.
- Experience with Postgres would be a plus!
For this role, you will be involved in the development of new product features, implementations, integrations to 3rd parties, maintenance, and other technical projects. You will work with internal and external customers to make sure that applications meet the needs of the business. This is where the good communication skills come into play. You will also ensure delivery of quality work with clear, well-commented code as scheduled in accordance with technical design and product requirements. And, help refine standards for development and testing activities.
