Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Maintenance Supervisor for their Scottsbluff NE production facility. This is a privately owned agricultural organization with a long family history that has been passed down for the 100 years of the company’s existence.

They’re looking for someone with 3-5 years of Maintenance experience with a strong Mechanical aptitude; a technical degree is highly preferred and could give you a large advantage over other candidates!
Compensation: $85,000-100,000
What You Will Do:
Responsible for managing the shift and all direct reports. Maintain systems and equipment by overseeing the processes of preventive maintenance schedules, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. Ensures that employees are trained to perform all tasks required on the shift in a safe and efficient manner; ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures; be a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadership.
- Analyze and develop individual work request, PM task and work orders, to determine appropriate labor, materials and timing required to schedule the work so that department Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) goals are supported. Coordinate interactions with internal and/or external resources to ensure work is accurately evaluated, prioritized, planned, scheduled, and successfully completed.
- Work with appropriate technical resources (internal and external to the facility) to develop and maintain preventative/predictive maintenance (PM) database (i.e. task detail, instructions, frequency, BOM) for all plant assets.
- Operate and maintain SAP. Coordinate activities required to develop and modify the SAP databases as needed to support department’s priorities and report KPIs. Ensure SAP databases are complete, accurate and intuitive.
- Monitor SAP data to evaluate effectiveness of maintenance activities and report KPIs; plan improvement activities, as needed. Notify appropriate plant tech resources of abnormalities and participate in finding solutions.
- Work closely with Shift Supervisors to ensure maintenance handovers are effectively communicated.
- Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Provide maintenance personnel with weekly work schedules to ensure all techs have 40 hours of planned work for the week; ensure all work is effectively completed within the work week. Review schedule with supervisors before the start of the work week and incorporate recommendations into the schedule before finalizing.
- Coordinate with the Stores manager to ensure parts and supplies are identified and ordered in a timely manner, excess inventory is minimized, waste is eliminated, and buys are carried out economically. Ensure parts are fitted to individual work orders. Assist Stores with overflow of orders and fill in when needed.
- Maintain technical documentation library for all plant assets. Contact vendors as needed to ensure all documentation remains up to date and any missing/damaged documentation is replaced.
Education and Work Experience
- 3-5 years Maintenance experience with strong mechanical aptitude required; technical degree is preferred.
- At least 3 years supervisory experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in Preventative Maintenance
- Experience using root cause analysis
- Ability to work with all levels of management and plant employees
- Excellent computer competence (SAP, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Micro Soft Project); knowledge of AutoCAD highly preferred.
