I'm excited to announce Venda Search are working with a number of leading heavy civil construction companies across North Carolina. The companies specialize in large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, utilities, and site development. They're searching for experienced Superintendents to work on their large scale Transportation projects with local counties and NCDOT.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all field activities, including labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, quality specifications, and project schedules.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Monitor job progress, resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, and report regularly to upper management.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and other project documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be a Foreman/Superintendent within heavy civil construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
