Summary of Responsibilities: This position's main purpose is to help support the team by driving for event deliveries and pick-ups and ensuring items needed for specified events are packaged in accordance with VCI Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Additionally, this position supports operations in achieving daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly objectives by aiding in the warehouse functions necessary to support each event. This includes but is not limited to, daily warehouse activities such as pulling, scanning, and fulfilling equipment work orders with 100% accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and pick up gear needed for events at prescheduled delivery and pick-up times.
- Load and unload company vehicles and equipment from various locations.
- Maintain accurate driving records of deliveries and pickups.
- Follow company SOPs while Pulling, Scanning, Packaging, and Transporting all equipment needed for event work orders.
- Become proficient at the operation of IntelliEvent Lightning POS.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including pulling and returning equipment for shows.
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills to better perform necessary job requirements.
- Maintain a safe work environment by keeping all work areas clean and clutter-free.
Requirements:
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must have a Class-C driver's license. Class B is a bonus.
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Experience operating a variety of vehicles, including vans and class-A box trucks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications:
- Clean driving record.
- Background in Operations/Logistics.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This position operates in a professional warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled, subjecting employees to varying temperatures, including heat during the summer and cold during the winter, and moderate noise. Employees are expected to engage in regular communication, auditory perception, and reading tasks during duties. This dynamic role involves prolonged periods of standing (or being on one's feet for up to 8 hours), walking, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and crouching throughout the shift. As drivers, employees will be responsible for driving, loading, and unloading equipment in various weather conditions.
Additionally, employees will be required to lift products and packaging overhead and may frequently handle items weighing 25 -75 pounds and up to 150 pounds with assistance. Essential vision capabilities for this role encompass close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Furthermore, adept finger and wrist dexterity are essential for successful performance in this position.
The position requires flexibility in work hours, including days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
