We are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee our quality management systems in alignment with aerospace industry standards, particularly AS9100. The ideal candidate will ensure that our products meet rigorous safety and quality requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Lead First Article Inspection (FAI) processes to verify that production meets design specifications before mass manufacturing.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to manage quality-related risks.
- Oversee product safety protocols and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
- Manage supplier quality assurance programs, including evaluations and audits to ensure supplier compliance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and product quality.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for quality audits and ensure readiness for external assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality management within the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and FAI processes.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
