Position: General Liability Claims Specialist
Location: Remote– preferably EST time zone. If candidate sits in Columbus, OH – they will have the option to go onsite 3 days/week at the home office in Downtown Columbus
Pay: $60-80k +annual bonus
Must Haves:
- 2+ years of experience with General Liability Claims
- Strong knowledge of the Litigation Process
- 3rd party adjuster experience
- Customer service skills
- High school diploma
Plusses:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Construction experience
- Commercial and/or construction defect claims and litigation handling experience preferred
Day to Day/Core Responsibilities:
The position is responsible for documenting, investigating, evaluating, reserving, negotiating and resolving General Liability, Construction Defect, Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims. The successful candidate will manage claims throughout the claim life cycle (customer contacts, coverage, investigation, evaluation, reserving, negotiation and resolution) and maintain compliance with quality standards.
