Position Overview:
The Senior Project Analyst is a vital team member responsible for providing key financial insights that help us make smarter decisions and drive growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will analyze project economics, model financial scenarios, and present actionable insights to leadership. Prior experience in the Renewable Energy industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling & Analysis:
- Develop financial models to evaluate project viability and risks.
- Provide financial evaluations, DCF analysis, and sensitivity analyses.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Assist project managers in preparing project budgets.
- Monitor project expenditures and identify variances.
Investment Appraisal:
- Conduct feasibility studies for new projects, evaluating ROI and IRR.
- Prepare investment proposals for executive review.
Risk Assessment:
- Identify and analyze financial risks and opportunities.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Performance Tracking:
- Monitor KPIs to evaluate project performance.
- Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project financial analysis, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in other financial modeling tools.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
