Position : Payroll automation Analyst
Location : Tempe, AZ
Duration : 6 Months with EXT
Top 3 to 5 skillsets / years of experience • 3-5 years Payroll, Finance, or Accounting Experience • Experience with in-depth business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modeling • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks • Experience with SAP Surrounding team/key projects • Pilot Contract • Flight related initiatives • CA sick- flight SAP payroll experience is a hard requirement. Attention to detail is a must. Good background in regression testing, implementation experience, and/or UAT testing is preferred.
Job Description:
- This job is a member of the Payroll Automation Team within the Finance Division.
- Responsible for gathering business requirements testing implementation and documentation of payroll and business processes and related interfaces impacting the payroll systems and the general ledger.
What you'll do
- Gathers and documents business requirements related to payroll and business activities -
- Analyzes and evaluates information gathered from multiple sources to create documentation including but not limited to business requirements process flows test plans test scripts and test results
- Assists with developing and performing the testing related to the payroll system and downstream systems
- Represents the department in meetings and through written and verbal communication with internal and external customers -
- Assists in identifying and documenting internal controls in support of auditing team
Minimum Qualifications- Education Prior Job Experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related business field and/or equivalent experience/training including payroll and payroll processes
Preferred Qualifications- Education Prior Job Experience
- At least 3-5 years Payroll Finance or Accounting experience - Experience with in depth business systems analysis functional design documentation and process modeling
- Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
- Experience with SAP is required \
Skills Licenses Certifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook etc.

- Ability to read and understand multiple labor agreements
- Demonstrate outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under stressful situations
- Ability to handle multiple assignments changing priorities with minimal supervision
