Partners Personnel is seeking a Freight Broker for our client in the Gainesville, GA area. This is a Contract to Hire position – Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a great company. This is a great opportunity to work with great company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and carriers.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts
- Coordinate the movement of freight from origin to destination.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation.
- Track shipments and provide updates to clients as needed.
- Negotiate rates with carriers to optimize costs.
- Resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process.
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Freight Broker, Logistic Broker, or Freight Agent
- Strong understanding of freight transportation and logistics processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
