Texana Center is a nonprofit organization specializing in mental health, autism, and developmental disabilities in Fort Bend and surrounding counties.
- The Children’s Center for Autism (CCA) is looking for energetic Behavior Technicians (BT) to provide life-changing treatment to children with autism and/or intellectual disabilities!
- Start at $15/hr
- We provide paid 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training! We also pay for your RBT application fee and exam fee, as well as annual renewal fees! And pay you $200 bonus if you pass within 5 months (& increase to $16/hr)
- Pay increases up to $17.25/hr within the first year that you receive your RBT! And additional increases up to $20.00 based on years as an RBT.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Behavior Technician CCA at Texana Center in Sugar Land, TX.
- Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans
- Work as a part of a collaborative team under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)
- Work directly with clients to increase appropriate skills such as communication
- Work directly with clients to decrease challenging behaviors such as aggression
- Provide verbal and physical prompts to clients as needed
- Collect data on client progress using an electronic device
- Participate in a comprehensive 2-3 week training on ABA techniques, CPR, SAMA, and other Texana Center procedures
Qualifications
- Required High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to perform SAMA & CPR. Training is provided to hired employees.
- Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting (15#- 45#), pushing, stooping, light carrying (15#), repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, running, sitting & twisting.
- Must have ability to see, write, operate office equipment, operate a motor vehicle and have depth perception.
- Must be able to perform these functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
