Scott & Associates, P.C., is a well-established multi-state legal recoveries law firm seeking a motivated Attorney to join our Hatboro, Pennsylvania office, oversee our legal team, and mentor new Attorney staff.
Since our inception in May 2000, we've evolved into a significant player in debt recovery litigation, providing comprehensive solutions for major banks and creditors.
The Lead Attorney will also be responsible for attending hearings and trials in Pennsylvania; local/regional travel will be required and the firm reimburses mileage and other travel-related expenses.
This position is a salary plus commission-eligible opportunity with no billable hour requirement. Commissions are based on attorney-negotiated settlements.
Must be licensed and in good standing with the State of Pennsylvania. Salary is dependent upon qualifications.
- The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and familiarity with courtroom and civil procedures.
- Must be proficient with technology and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, with Excel data management experience highly preferred.
- The candidate must be able to work independently and professionally interact with staff, opposing counsel, and the courts.
Responsibilities Include:
- Negotiating resolution of pending litigation, motion practice, review and drafting of pleadings/discovery, court appearances, document execution, calendar management, and other duties related to a high volume practice.
