Robert Half Technology has currently partnered with an IT consulting company to help them identify a Information Technology Manager with MSP experience. In an hands on leadership capacity you will manage a team consisting of Tier 1, 2, & 3 Professionals, that perform System Engineering, Identity Access Management projects, Virtualization optimization/set up, Windows Server Administration, Active Directory support, refresh projects, Cloud migration, Network and general IT Support. This position is being offered as full time, with full benefits, and is 4-5 days onsite in San Diego. Experience on resumes should outline demonstrated experience working in Information Technology with deep knowledge of Cloud and Hybrid on Prem solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Function as a hands on leader for system, network, and cloud client initiatives and support.
- Perform and provide Azure hybrid cloud, Windows, Virtualization and Networking troubleshooting and support for customers in various industries.
- Management of complex IT projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Manage team consisting of Tier 1, 2, & 3 Professionals.
- Work with stakeholders to accomplish the infrastructure, network, and operations strategy in a way that improves the business and technical fitness of the IT infrastructure and support operations and minimizes its ongoing support costs.
- Lead, empower, "level-up" and motivate your team through mentorship and coaching.
- Provide design and application of information systems to clients that help the enterprise infrastructure of the organization.
- Work with hybrid enterprise infrastructure environment of Cloud-Based and On-Premise solutions ensuring that the enterprise infrastructure and network is utilized to maximum capabilities.
Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in Information Technology with at least 4 years in a leadership capacity.
- MSP and/or IT Consulting experience managing a small team.
- Experience managing Office/Microsoft 365 solutions for email, Azure AD, and related offerings.
- Experience in cloud computing and migration best practices.
- Work with hybrid enterprise infrastructure environment of Cloud-Based and On-Premise solutions ensuring that IT infrastructure and network is utilized to maximum capabilities
- Experience managing server infrastructure utilizing Virtual Server environments (VMware, Hyper- V, Azure).
- Professional certifications or education in Azure, Security, Microsoft, Networking, etc.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to commute to the San Diego corporate office on a regular basis (4-5 times per week) and be part of the on call rotation team.
