Superintendent
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
About the Company
East Coast based General Contractor and Construction Management firm who have been around for over 70 years successfully delivering construction projects.
Huge pipeline of upcoming work with a presence in several sectors including:
- Healthcare
- Higher Education
- Retail
- Corporate Interiors
- Multifamily
With a large amount of project pipeline secured in 2024 they are now looking to add an experienced Superintendent to their growing operation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction operations providing oversight and leadership to trades
- Serve as competent person ensuring OSHA compliance
- Interpret owner requirements, contract specifications and associated changes
- Provide technical assistance during the project and develop construction methods
- Work with the project team to set goals and milestones
- Coordinate and lead the weekly site meetings
- Participate in quarterly superintendent and site meetings
- Supervise foreman, assistant superintendents and project/field engineers
- Assist in approval process for subcontractor requisitions
Experience Required
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Project Superintendent for a General Contractor
- Commercial Retail experience is preferred but not essential
- Must have commercial building experience
- Must have base building experience and have taken large projects out of the ground to successful completion
- Should have managed projects more than $20m
- OSHA qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Pay: $95,000 - $135,000 per year
