Engineering and Product Leader

Are you an experienced Engineering and Product Leader ready to drive innovation and excellence? We’re looking for a dynamic leader to join our clients SLT, overseeing the product development department at a premier engineered products manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the engineering team, aligning product development with corporate strategy.
- Big picture product development thinking
- Utilise data-driven criteria to prioritise and develop product ideas that meet market demands.
- Conduct engineering analysis, including preliminary design, lifecycle costs, and equipment selection.
- Spearhead product development from concept through to market launch, ensuring project feasibility, budget alignment, and successful execution.
- Manage project efficiency, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
- Review and refine engineering standards, policies, and procedures to enhance operational excellence.
- Oversee the company’s Quality Control program to maintain top standards in products and processes.
- Guide performance management and certification compliance within the engineering team.
Physical & Technical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential engineering and product development tasks, including physical activities within the warehouse and office environments.
- Proficiency with essential engineering tools, including CAD software and quality management systems.
Experience & Skills:
- 8+ years in engineering (pumps, fluid dynamics, or related fields preferred) and 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality standards, CAD software, and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Strong analytical skills, advanced math capabilities, and effective communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required; Master’s Degree preferred.
