The Opportunity:
The Resource Planning Program Manager (RPM) optimizes the utilization of Technology,
Transformation and Information Security (TTS) resources to maximize labor resource according to Transformation program and TTS priorities. You will analyze the demand compared to available capacity, and recommend headcount plans to ensure appropriate resource and skill availability. You will collaborate with TTS resource managers on determining resources assignments and continually improve optimized staff utilization. You will report to the VP, Transformation group.
The Day-to-Day:
- Manage all phases of the program from identification of capacity needs and capacityplanning, through optimizing use
- Collaborate with the Transformation Office and Program Leadership Teams to maintain the Portfolio and Programs roadmaps
- Partner with resource managers to identify the program's short-term, mid-term, and long- term resource needs to achieve business and technology goals
- Train resource managers to continually improve the accuracy of forecastingand planning
- Gather and consolidate information on the current TTS labor workforce, future headcountplan, the roles involved and the skillset required
- Assist leadership in roadmap decision making by simulating impacts of program changes to mid- to long-term capacity plans and short- to mid-term resource plans
- Identify resource over-use and under-use, and proactively partners across the organization to address and resolve
- Coach, mentor, motivate and manage program team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Your Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in specific field working both independently and in a collaborative environment
- 3+ years of experience in Clarity PPM or similar project portfolio management (PPM) tool, Jira
- Elicit cooperation from several sources, including senior management,internal clients, and other departments
- React to program adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
- Strong familiarity with change management
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Compensation:
- $100,000 - $140,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience.
- Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
