Position is in office four days a week in Media, PA.
We are a wholesale home decor and accessories company seeking a Designer to join our team and contribute to the creation of designs for various Home Décor and gifting products. As a Designer, you will complete account-specific projects and contribute to the development of new products. In this role, your creativity and meticulous attention to detail will be crucial. You should possess a keen awareness of home décor trends, an understanding of product merchandising strategies, and have a solid foundation of basic design principles.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with team members on execution of projects including but not limited to: laying out plan-o-grams, creating tech-packs with detailed product specifications, building sales decks and designing wall and tabletop art.
- Edit, modify, and expand existing designs to meet client-specific needs.
- Research design trends to ensure output is in line with what is in the market.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines, as well as be able to shift priorities on short notice.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and Bridge. Knowledge in 3D software such as SketchUp is a plus, but not required.
- A strong design sensibility in terms of color, composition, and typography.
- Ability to take direction and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Miro.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
- Must have 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Must have a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and sensibility.
- Must have knowledge of home décor and fashion trends.
