About the Position:
Our client, a dynamic national Am Law firm, has an immediate need for an employee benefits/executive compensation lawyer to join as a mid-level associate in Chicago. Candidates should have the desire and team orientation to help grow and support the firm’s highly-regarded Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice.

Responsibilities:
· Advise private and public companies with matters related to their employee compensation and benefit plans
· Draft employee benefit and compensation plans, ensuring compliance with federal statutes
Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of employee benefits and executive compensation experience
· Experience drafting and implementing retirement plans and health and welfare benefit plans
· Experience with executive compensation and benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions
· Deep understanding of taxation issues related to executive compensation arrangements
· Desire to grow and support a national practice
· Strong academic credentials
