Location: Vista, CA (traveling 90% of the time)
Duration: 6 months with extensions
Pay Rate: $25-31/hour with Overtime Opportunity
Interviews: 1 round in person
Travel: Could be traveling up to 3 weeks a month to various sites around the US
- all expenses are reimbursed for travel
Must-Haves:
- Able to read and follow assembly documents
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- HS Diploma
- Be prepared for extensive travel (75%), including international projects, and working in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to obtain a US Passport to support OCONUS travel
Description:
- Install and commission various inspection systems, including Mid-Energy Portals (MEP), Low Energy Portals (LEP), IP6500 Vehicle and Cargo Inspection Systems (VACIS), and Radiation Portal Monitor (RPM) systems.
- Identify and correct equipment start-up malfunctions.
- Provide technical support for equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software at customer or factory locations.
- Achieve weekly project installation goals within set deadlines.
- Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment properly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure successful equipment and system installations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members, both orally and in writing
